Drink water, make up for your mistakes #healthyhair #health

Everyone knows that the body is made up of "70% water" however the brain is made up of 90% water and the skin (the largest organ in the body) is made up of primarily water as well. If you smoke, drink, indulge in caffeine, are over exposed to sun and/or environmental pollutants, indulge in sugar, drink pop or soda then the recommended 6-8 glasses of water per day are grossly inadequate. Even if you choose to exercise, making progress in your health regimen requires higher amounts of water. The toxins in cigarettes, alcohol, etc. need to be flushed from your system before any progress will be made. Alcohol, caffeine and sun exposure dehydrate starting you in the red. If any of the aforementioned apply to you adding a noteworthy amount of water to your daily diet is necessary for healthy hair, skin and nails. (Always consult your physician before dramatically changing your regimen). You have to remember that water is the universal solvent. It naturally addresses issues such as acne (skin), irritability (brain), dandruff, dry scalp (hair), brittle or yellowing nails, without the need for prescriptions.
