Forever Silk Step 1: Cuticle Cleansing Shampoo...Cleans 

The Forever Silk Step 1 Cuticle Cleansing Shampoo is the ultimate cleansing shampoo formula. 

 

Designed to thoroughly cleanse the cuticle (outer layer) of the hair shaft. Step 1 will release dirt or debris found on the surface of the hair shaft. This leaves the cuticle free of substances with might prevent the conditioning agents found in Step 2 from penetrating the cuticle layer of the hair and entering the cortexial fibers (inner fibers) of the hair shaft. 

Cleansing surfactants attack surface soils during the first shampoo. It cleanses the scalp on subsequent shampoos while giving mounds of lather. It cleanses without stripping color or oils.

The shampoo will normalize prior to a “curly perm” or thioglycolate curl product and can be used to neutralize a sodium or other hydroxide relaxers. It begins the reconstruction of damaged hair.

Never tested on animals.

Leaves cuticles in an open position  to receive Step 2 Penetrating Conditioner.
